Real Time Solar System
Positions are computed from VSOP87 and an ELP-derived lunar theory, accurate to within one arcminute. Nothing here is an animation on a timer: every body is where it actually is.

How accurate is this
Planet positions come from VSOP87 and the Moon from an ELP-derived series, both validated against NOVAS and JPL Horizons to within one arcminute. Eclipse and phase times are exact to the minute. This is not suitable for navigation or spacecraft operations.
Event times on this page were computed on . The simulation above computes continuously in your browser.
